Short-term TRAINING courses
Sub-CLUSTER

OVERVIEW

This sub-cluster tackles challenges specific to projects delivering short-term training courses in Advanced Digital Skills (ADS). In particular, it will explore issues such as reaching their target audience -predominantly active professionals in search of upskilling and/or reskilling opportunities- effectively conveying their value to SMEs and ultimately recruiting learners that will complete the courses.

Engagement with industry and connections with SMEs are particularly important for short courses, in terms of providing a reliable pool of qualified candidates, that will bring newly acquired skills back into the workforce. The sub-cluster will assist in this regard by:

  • Encouraging the exchange of knowledge and best practices among the projects.
  • Facilitating the access to established contacts and networks.
  • Bringing together the short-courses and relevant SME networks in dedicated brokerage events.
