Data sub-cluster
OVERVIEW
The ADS projects’ Data sub-cluster addresses key challenges in accessing, collecting, and using data to improve the design, delivery, and evaluation of Advanced Digital Skills (ADS) training. It focuses on identifying available data, gathering information from participants, ensuring data quality, and contributing to shared data initiatives within the ADS ecosystem.
Data work in ADS is complex due to low data availability, lack of standard methods, privacy regulations, and limited technical support. These issues make it difficult to assess ADS demand, course effectiveness, and learner outcomes.
Given the fast-changing nature of the field, the sub-cluster aims to help projects use real-time data strategically, for adapting content, refining outreach, and demonstrating impact.
SCOPE
- Exchange tips and insights for using data in tracking ADS demands, designing and developing new courses.
- How to leverage existing initiatives such as the Data Space for Skills and LEADSx2030 Data Hub and access rich data.
- How to produce useful data in the context of ADS projects and contribute to the development of a data hub for the ADS community in Europe.
- Promote responsible data management and exchange practices based on common standards and European data space principles
