LEADSx2030 consortium meeting in dublin
8th of September 2025, we hosted a full-day consortium meeting at Trinity Business School in Dublin, bringing together leading organisations in digital innovation. Combining strategic planning, technical discussions and collaborative sessions.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review the project’s progress, plan for the year ahead and discuss key components that underpin its success.
Reviewing project progress and planning ahead
The day began with a comprehensive review of the project’s journey so far. Key topics included:
- Project Status and Milestones: partners presented updates on deliverables submitted, milestones achieved, and the outcomes realised to date.
- Areas for Improvement: participants identified opportunities for change and set strategic goals for the next phase.
- Annual Summit Planning: preparations for the upcoming ADS Annual Summit were discussed, with a focus on partner roles and responsibilities.
This session ensured all partners had a clear understanding of achievements, challenges, and priorities as the project moves into its second year.
Key project components
The consortium then turned its attention to three core engines that drive the project: the Ecosystem Engine, the Recommendation Engine, and the Data Engine.
Ecosystem Engine
The Ecosystem Engine session focused on fostering collaboration and sharing best practices. Discussions covered: thematic Sub-clusters, outcomes and learnings, and expected outputs. Plans were revised for disseminating collected best practices, enhancing review processes, and engaging new projects and stakeholders.
Recommendation Engine
The Recommendation Engine session focused on the ADS State-of-Play report, topics included: input and validation processes for the report, and online publication strategies. The focus was on refining the report to ensure it accurately reflects the project’s current state and insights.
Data Engine
This session covered a detailed update of our main outputs:
- ADS Data Model: partners reviewed methodology and assessed the reliability of data outputs.
- Demand Dashboard Workshop: an interactive session explored the dashboard’s purpose, target users, and priority features, resulting in a list of intended use cases, target users, and validated feature requests.
- Data Hub and Supply: strategies were discussed for attracting data connectors and integrating new sources, including connections to existing work packages.
- ADS Cluster Data Collection: findings from the previous data cycle were reviewed, and plans for next year’s data collection were outlined.
What comes next?
The day concluded with a review of communication performance and planning for future outreach campaigns. Partners discussed key actions they could take to maximise impact and reach important stakeholders.
The consortium meeting ensured that LEADSx2030 is well-positioned to continue driving innovation and delivering impactful results over the coming year. With aligned strategies across the Ecosystem, Recommendation, and Data Engines, the project is ready to strengthen Europe’s advanced digital skills ecosystem.
