Intersectoral approach to education of the specialists is very typical recently, for example, thermal energy sector is now often combined with electricity sector, or natural gas sphere with biomethane sphere. (project – SKILLS4DECA)
The challenge?
Situations arise in which personnel working in the energy sector must possess knowledge from various related fields. This is due to the rapid development of technologies and the important role of IT. IoT and automation also play a significant role in these changes.
Our solution
The solution is to clearly identify the required level of knowledge for course participants who are retraining or working in a merged or interdisciplinary field. To address this, the syllabus should include knowledge from different sectors. Participants should be assessed through pre-course testing to determine their initial level of knowledge.
Outcomes
Higher interest from employees and CEO of industry spheres, that are being merged. 10 students for intersectoral educational programme
