STEM graduates are indicated as the most suitable candidates to access IT jobs. Yet, a growing number of announcements ask for additional master’s or certifications, e.g. in Data Science and BI.


Certification programmes incorporating Experiential Learning (EL), a pedagogic technique that leverages the process of learning through experience, more narrowly defined as ‘learning through reflection on doing’. Hands-on labs addressing real-life scenarios and use cases proposed by external companies are the main teaching tools.


EL is an effective teaching approach in advanced digital skilling
It has a higher cost compared to standard classrooms since a fully licensed, enterprise-grade software is required for each attendee.
The effort in creating the EL environment can be easily scaled and readapted to serve the upskilling of existing and running companies.
